Without oxidization finish is like burnished bronze. When fully oxidized color will be a light to medium forest green. I feel that my best results come with a short oxidization which gives a combination of the two with the colors being a bit darker and stronger. It gives similar results to red bronze except it is darker green in oxidation and it needs to be fired to a higher temperature. This glaze is mixed by volume. Use whatever size will give the volume you need (such as a tbsp. or half cup measure). |
