Good crackle effects are obtained with moderate to heavy applications. Light application of glaze will result in a finish with no cracks but with black speckles. When I have applied it over terra sigillata it has not cracked. Over the black terra sigillata that I use, a blue color results. This glaze has the lowest temperature requirement of any of the glazes I use. |
