Without oxidization finish is like polished copper. When fully oxidized color will be a celedon green ranging from light apple green to a strong turquoise. I feel that my best results come with a short oxidization which gives a combination of the two with the colors being a bit darker and stronger. This glaze must be watched closely for its time to pull from the kiln. If over fired will become too liquid and run. |
