Internship Program

All students are encouraged to participate in one or more of our Internship Program options as part of their Bradford Liberal Arts education. The Internship Program is an experiential educational program. The student intern contracts with an organization to provide specific outcomes/services, which meet the student's learning goals as well as the needs of the organization.
Using the actual work as the foundation, the students actively engage in their own educational and professional growth through self-conscious reflection and analysis. Interns gain a clearer focus on their career and educational objectives, and a renewed commitment to their academic success. In addition to actual required onsite hours, students attend a bi-weekly seminar series and are required to complete significant course work in order to receive academic credit.
Bradford College now offers three, six, or nine credit internship options to students. A student may combine these options for a maximum of 12 credit hours. Student must be a second semester sophomore, junior or senior and have a 2.00 cumulative GPA to participate in the internship program.

Bradford College actively encourages off-campus study programs as a means of further enriching students' educational experience. Affiliations with a variety of programs allow Bradford students to earn Bradford credit while studying at another location, in the United States or abroad. In some instances, financial aid awarded by Bradford College can be applied to these programs.
